1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of platestudio.co.uk and the purchase of products from Plate Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Road Legal Number Plates

All road legal number plates supplied by Plate Studio are manufactured in accordance with The Road Vehicles (Display of Registration Marks) Regulations 2001 and BS AU 145e.

As a Registered Number Plate Supplier (RNPS), we are legally required to verify both your identity and your entitlement to display the registration number before manufacturing your plates.

Accepted proof of identity includes documents such as:

• UK Driving Licence
• Passport

Accepted proof of entitlement includes, but is not limited to:

• V5C Registration Certificate (Log Book)
• V750 Certificate of Entitlement
• V778 Retention Document
• Certificate of Authorisation
• Fleet Operator Authorisation
• Vehicle Hire or Lease Agreement

Orders cannot be processed until satisfactory documentation has been received and verified.

3. Ordering

All orders placed through our website are subject to acceptance by Plate Studio.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or refund any order where:

• Required documentation cannot be verified.
• Fraudulent or suspicious activity is suspected.
• Incorrect information has been provided.
• We are legally unable to manufacture the requested number plates.

All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable.

4. Production & Dispatch

Our standard production time is 1–2 working days.

Orders placed before 1:00 pm (Monday to Friday) are typically dispatched the same working day, subject to successful document verification where required.

Production times may be extended during busy periods. If there is a significant delay, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

5. Delivery

We offer Free UK Standard Delivery on all orders.

Next Day Delivery is available from £6.99, where selected at checkout.

Orders are delivered using Royal Mail or another trusted courier service.

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary. Plate Studio cannot be held responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services once your order has been dispatched.

6. Returns & Refunds

As all number plates are personalised products manufactured to your specification, they are generally exempt from cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

If your order is:

• Faulty
• Damaged during delivery
• Incorrect due to our error

please contact support@platestudio.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your order. Where appropriate, we will arrange a replacement or refund.

This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on platestudio.co.uk, including text, images, graphics, logos and branding, is the property of Plate Studio unless otherwise stated.

No content may be copied, reproduced or distributed without our prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plate Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products.

Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the order placed.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
